Die Playlist

Hier präsentiere ich Euch eine sehr besondere Video-Playlist mit 46 Tracks, die im Wesentlichen von der Music von DarkCar inspiriert worden ist. Natürlich sind es alles Videos aus dem Bereich Electronica, und alle sind kleine audiovisuelle Meisterstücke – ich hoffe, dass Euch die Auswahl gefällt.

Wie so oft bei meinen Playlists gibt es auch hier wieder Schwerpunkte, die da wären:

• Rising Appalachia – das derzeit wohl beste Folk Duo aus den USA, visuell eine Augenweide
• Dirtwire – auch aus USA, die oft mit Rising Appalachia zusammenarbeiten und ihren Sound als SwampTronica bezeichnen
• Tess Parks – die stilprägende Ikone der Neo Psychedelika aus Kanada mit Wohnsitz in London
• RY X – der solo, als Howling und auch als The Acid auf der ganzen Linie audiovisuell begeistert
• Klangkarussel – die Österreicher begeistern mit exzellentem Melodic House und fantastischen Videos
• Ex:Re – die Londoner Band begeistert mit audiovisuell herzzerreißendem Depri-Spound
• GusGus – die Isländer, die mit Fug und Recht als Großmeister der modularen anlogen Synthies bezeichnet werden und vom Video Produzenten-Team Arni & Kinski gekonnt in Szene gesetzt werden
• Arni & Kinski – das isländische Video-Produktionsteam mit Videos vom GusGus, Kiasmos und einigen mehr
• Thylacine – einer der besten Electronic Produzenten Frankreichts, der mit mobilem Sudio durch die Welt fährt und auch die Videos selbst produziert

The Playlist

Here I present you a very special video playlist with 46 tracks, basically inspired by the music of DarkCar. Of course, they are all electronica videos, and all of them are small audiovisual masterpieces – I hope you like the selection.

As often with my playlists, there are some main focuses, which are:

• Hania Rani – who can also fully inspire with her videos.
• Rising Appalachia – probably the best folk duo from the USA at the moment, visually a feast for the eyes.
• Dirtwire – also from USA, who often collaborate with Rising Appalahcia and describe their sound as SwampTronica
• Tess Parks – the style-defining icon of neo psychedelia from Canada, residing in London
• RY X – who inspires audiovisually solo, as Howling and also as The Acid all along the line
• Klangkarussel – the Austrians inspire with excellent melodic house and fantastic videos
• Ex:Re – the band from London-beightens with audiovisually heartbreaking Depri-Spound
• GusGus – the Icelanders, who can rightly be called the grandmasters of modular analog synths and are skillfully staged by the video producer team Arni & Kinski.
• Arni & Kinski – the Icelandic video production team with videos of GusGus, Kiasmos, Olafur Arnalds und einigen anderen
• Thylacine – one of the best electronic producers in France, who travels the world with a mobile studio and also produces the videos himself.
