Monolink

I already mentioned Monolink aka Steffen Linck and his spectacular live gigs in the previous post. „Mayan Warrior Burning Man 2018“ is perhaps the best gig Monolink has ever played as a solo hybrid concert (guitar and vocals are live, everything else is electronic).

Check it out and dance with Monolink into the Burning Man Sunset – including bass sequences that make the picture vibrate. And check out how Monolink captivates an absolutely weird and very cool audience more and more.

With this set, which currently has 12,627,647 views, Monolink has further solidified its international success and once again pushed the sales figures of the fantastic debut album „Amniotic“ to the top. Monolink’s music and arrangements are magical and it’s hard to put his sound in a genre category. There are many quiet ambient elements, which can gladly slide away into experimental realms, but the whole thing always remains exciting – and above all dancefloor compatible.

Deep house elements meet singer/songwriter attitude, sometimes the sound slides gently into minimal/tech house worlds with short ethnical set pieces, just to be brought back to down-to-earth by Monolink with its unmistakable electric guitar sequences, until synthie drum beats and foggy electronic dance beat soundscapes get us back on the dance floor. Under the much-cited bottom line, all of Monolink’s work is always very organic and harmonious – but without ever sounding shallow.

Monolink is a perfectionist and shakes incredibly beautiful arrangements straight out of his sleeve and spends immense effort to give his very own sound impressive magic, independence and airiness, countless renowned producers and DJs around the globe refine his songs with remixes.
